April 2024 - Fußball EM nicht nur im eigenen Land, sonder auch 4 Spiele in meiner Wahlheimat Leipzig. Und mit diesen 4 Spielen auch eine Menge Content, den es zu produzieren gilt. Für die UEFA direkt macht das die Londoner Firma Whisper. Und für die durfte ich Fixer sein. Bei dieser Produktion hieß das konkret: Protagonist*innen & Locations finden, Übersetzen, Drehgenehmigungen einholen und Zeit für ein paar BTS Fotos war auch noch. Unser Team kümmerte sich um „Host City Broadcast“. Für mich hieß das u.a.: In Videocontent-Pieces die EM in der Stadt hervorheben und die internationalen Teams durch ihre Fans willkommen heißen. Diese wurden dann bei UEFA.tv ausgestrahlt und konnten von internationalen Broadcastern übernommen werden.
Danke an Tim, Tom und Hamadi! Ihr wart ein super Team mit dem man von Anfang an auf Augenhöhe arbeiten konnte. Danke auch an Nairn, der mich in dieses Projekt geholte hat und an Noah für Koordination vor Ort.
April 2024 - UEFA EURO 2024 not only in my own country, but also 4 games in my chosen home city of Leipzig. And with these 4 games comes a lot of content that needs to be produced. The London-based company Whisper is doing this directly for UEFA. And I was able to be a fixer for them. For this production, that meant finding protagonists and locations, translating, obtaining filming permits and there was also time for a few BTS photos. Our team took care of “Host City Broadcast”. For me, that meant, among other things: Highlighting the European Championship in the city in video content pieces and welcoming the international teams through their fans. These were then broadcast on UEFA.tv and could be picked up by international broadcasters.
